Guidelines for Submissions

We have provided the guidelines for submissions to the 8th ISPAH Congress in Vancouver (October 12-14, 2021). We will begin accepting Symposium/Workshop/Satellite Meeting submissions on November 30, 2019. Abstract submissions will be accepted beginning January 27, 2020.

Specific Guidelines

Specific guidelines for or submissions to the 8th ISPAH Congress in Vancouver can be found by downloading the attached file SUBMISSION GUIDELINES. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact our team at: info@ISPAH2020.com

Please note that owing to the COVID-19 pandemic that our Congress has been changed to a 100% virtual model (October 12-14, 2021) with the ability to attend in-person pre-Congress Satellite Meetings on October 11, 2021. Sessions will be organized to allow for the widespread participation of delegates from around the world considering different time zones.

General Guidelines

To allow as many people to present and attend as possible, the number of submissions by a presenting (first) author will be limited to a maximum of two (2) submissions for free communications (i.e., oral or poster presentations). Priority may be given to your first submission to ensure a diversity of presenters at the Congress. Please note, this is for presenting first authors only; there is no limit to the number of abstracts one can be an author on. First authors may also give keynote, symposia, and/or workshop presentations (schedule permitting).

By submitting an abstract you are guaranteeing that one of your team members will be a registered delegate and available to present the findings on behalf of your team.

Human studies must comply with the standards of the Declaration of Helsinki. Animal studies must comply with the National Institutes of Health Research guidelines regarding the use of animals.

All presenters must declare potential conflicts of interest with their submission and at the time of the presentation at the 8th ISPAH Congress.

Abstract submissions will only be accepted electronically through our online submission portal and must be submitted at the applicable time no later than Noon (Pacific time zone).

Abstract authors are required to pay the applicable 8th ISPAH Congress conference registration fee and all other costs associated with travel and accommodation to present at the Congress.

Presenters who fail to provide notice of a reason acceptable to the Scientific Committee (info@ispah2020.com) for not delivering an accepted abstract will be precluded from presenting at future ISPAH Congresses.
